These are our reflections after the camp. Can you identify who made the comments?

I think Batu Tapak camp is really fun because they have lots of outdoor games like flying foxes, spot light, spider web, talent show and more. The food is delightful. I enjoyed it there. I’m glad we chose Batu Tapak for our camp.
The camp at Batu Tapak was weird, fun, cool and a lot of people lost their belongings but everyone who lost their belongings found them again. We sat around the camp fire which was warm and only a bit hot.
I think I like the camp fire and I think I’m happy with spot light. I think everybody was cold in the waterfall. I like to make a bucket. We like to eat dinner with everybody.
I enjoyed the camp fire because it’s warm. My most favourite activity was the flying fox. I loved the food from breakfast to dinner. I like sleeping in the tent with Avi, Robert and Feri.  I think that spotlight had team work, spookiness and was fun.
I’m happy. It is so cold. Flying fox is so fun. Camp fire is warm. Morning is cool and sleepy.
It’s fun to go to Batu Tapak. We had a lot of games and competitions. The fun of all was flying fox, but only one time to do flying fox so it was the Day 1. Day 2 we woke up.  We thank to do camping. We went to the waterfall. We came back so we had camp fire.
Dear Batu Tapak, I hope next time we can go there again. So who’s group won for the talent show? I remember when I almost lost my toothbrush and on Thursday I cried because I lost my toothbrush. Okay thanks! Bye Batu Tapak.
The camp was so fun! The view in Batu Tapak is so beautiful! In the night, there is always a camp fire. AAA there’s fire!! The next day we go on the flying fox! Oh my god, it’s so high! I wish I could go on the flying fox again! The third day was also fun too because we hiked down to go to the waterfall! Brrrr the water’s so cold.
It was perfect at Batu Tapak. Every evening there was a camp fire. Me, Bri and Robert always got the fire wood. In the morning the ash was still sometimes there and there was still a bit of fire. It was just great.
Batu Tapak – I will never forget how wonderful the time we went to Batu Tapak was. I would describe it eco friendly, fun, cold, challenging and happy. My best experiences were swimming in the very cold waterfall and going on the flying fox.
When we went to Batu Tapak it takes 3 hours. We went to our tents and we have lunch and play some activity and then we do flying fox. At night we made a camp fire. We went to the waterfall and made a cuckoo clock and then we have to go home.
When we arrived at the camp I was very scared and excited. It was very fun! All of the games were fun. My favourite part was the flying fox and going to the waterfall. It is very different being with the class the whole day.
Well I was at camp Batu Tapak. Why was I scared of the flying fox? There was bath time. Well I didn’t do the camp fire but I saw it a little bit. I was kind of sad not staying there.

  1. Hi Grade 3,4,5 It sounds like the camp was excellent fun. I'm sure you all learned something new while you were there. I really like messing around with fires so maybe I should go next time.

  2. Wowzers! It looks like you guys had lots of fun... I really liked looking through the pictures. The group games look like a good way of learning to co-operate and listen to each other.
Just one question. Did you roast marshmallows over the fire???
