In the Creative Design Lab,we are making the displays for the Exhibition. Some of our components are going to be displayed in the Creative Design Lab. Our performing arts component is going to be performed in the Assembly Hall. Our choice component needs to ready on this Friday. Some of our choice components are stories, cooking, fashion and others.  The Exhibition is in 8 more school days. All of our components must be displayed in the Creative Design Lab except for the performing arts. We will see you at the Exhibition on Friday, 6 June 2014. 

T-shirts for the Exhibition

In the Grade 3/4/5, we are making t-shirts for the Exhibition.We had to plan what to draw on our shirts. Some of us are starting the t-shirt  and some of us already finished the t-shirts. Some of us are still working on it. We will be wearing the t-shirts on the day of the Exhibition. We design our own t-shirts by ourselves. We use a special marker that is very expensive. We use cardboard underneath our t-shirt so the ink can't go through in our t-shirts. We also borrowed some markers from Mr. Brad.

Ms.Trish gave us blank shirts so we can draw our Exhibition logos that we made for the Exhibition. On the back of our t-shirts, we wrote everyone who is in our class. The color of the markers are pink, blue, orange, black, green and yellow. We hope that you can see our t-shirts when their ready for the Exhibition. The shirts are amazing when you get to see it at the Exhibition on Friday, 6 June 2014.

Visual Arts Component

 The Grade 3/4/5 have been working on their visual arts projects. For example,
one student made a painting of a Papuan bird called the Cendrawasih. He chosen this bird for his painting subject because it is important to his culture. They will have 1 more week to work on this project. Their visual arts component needs to be related to their culture, values, beliefs, nature, ideas and feelings. People are making paintings, sculptures, comics and dioramas as just an example. We are making visuals arts projects because the Exhibition is about how we express ourselves.

We are going to share our project during the Exhibition. Our school community is invited to our Exhibition on Friday, June 6, 2014. We would like you to come to our Exhibition.
